Nybo Files for State Representative with Hundreds More Signatures than Any Other Candidate |
|
Lombard – Elmhurst Alderman Chris Nybo filed petitions in Springfield this morning with over 2600 signatures, more than five times the signature requirement. He filed with hundreds more signatures than any other candidate for Illinois State Representative in the 41st District. Nybo is pledging to reform state government, restore Illinois’ financial health and recover jobs and business opportunities.
“I am honored to have received such overwhelming support from the residents of the 41st District,” stated Nybo. “As I have walked door–to-door in every town in this district, I heard the people’s concerns about Illinois’ economic crisis. As an Elmhurst Alderman, I have been dedicated to the principles of fiscal responsibility and tax relief. If elected State Representative, I will oppose new tax increases, demand fiscal responsibility and insist on transparency in state budgeting.”
